Voting Options
Must be logged in to Vote
This setting will force the user to login before submitting a vote. If toggled to 'No', anonymous voting will be allowed.
Must be logged in to Submit Entries
This setting will force the user to sign in to submit an entry into a contest. If toggled to 'No', anonymous submissions will be allowed.
Enable Cancel Vote
This allows a user to cancel their vote, but it only works when ip, cookie, or user account tracking is enabled.
Vote Tracking
This setting determines how votes are tracked in terms of personally identifiable information when the user is not logged in. You can choose from IP, cookies, email verification, IP + email verification, or user account tracking.
Voting Frequency
This setting allows you to control the users voting frequency limits by day, category, hour, or allow unlimited voting. Think of this in terms of 'X votes per Y time period'.
User Can Vote For
This setting determines how the votes available may be cast. Single means that votes can be cast only for a single contestant. Multiple Exclusive means that votes can not be repetitively cast for a single contestant, rather you must spread your votes out if you have multiple available. Multiple Split means that if you have multiple votes you may choose to cast them all on one contestant, or across several like in multiple exclusive.
The below figure is a table that represents the different possible combinations of settings which determine the structure of how contests work in production. Understand there are multiple ways to achieve the same results. This table is to demonstrate how these concepts could work in practice and therefore includes configurations that may be rare.

Per Calendar Day
Allows the voter to cast 1 vote per calendar day for a single contestant. Voter may vote for the same or a different contestant the next calendar day.

Per Calendar Day
Allows the voter to cast up to 2 votes at the same time per calendar day for a single contestant. Voter may vote for the same or a different contestant 2 times the next calendar day.

Per X Hours
Allows the voter to cast 1 vote per 'X' hours for a single contestant. Once the period of 'X' hours passes, the voter may cast another vote for any contestant, including the same one as before.

Per X Hours
Allows the voter to cast up to 2 votes at the same time per 'X' hours for a single contestant. Once the period of 'X' hours resets, the voter may cast another 2 votes for any contestant, including the same one as before.

Per Category
Allows the voter to cast 1 vote per category for a single contestant. Once the vote is cast, the voter cannot vote again in this category. This is a fairly straight forward standard type contest.

Per Category
Allows the voter to cast up to 2 votes at the same time per category for a single contestant. Once both votes are cast, the voter cannot vote again in this category. This is a fairly straight forward standard type contest, except that we are voting in multiples of whatever the voting frequency is at.

Allows unlimited voting for a single contestant. You can literally keep clicking vote.

Allows unlimited voting for a single contestant, by twos. You can literally keep clicking vote.
Per Calendar Day
Allows the voter to cast 1 vote per calendar day for each contestant. You cannot vote for the same contestant twice in one day, but you can vote for everyone once a day. If there are 100 different contestants spread across 10 contests, you could cast a maximum of 100 votes per calendar day. However, it is important to understand if you have voted for a contestant in a category, and they also have an entry in another category, you cannot vote for them again until the calendar day has passed.

If there were 100 contestants across 10 contests, you could cast a maximum of 2 votes to 2 unique contestants per calendar day. However, it is important to understand if you have voted for a contestant in a category, and they also have an entry in another category, you cannot vote for them again until the calendar day has passed, but you may vote for any other contestant in the same or any other category.

This means you could vote for John Doe in each and every contest he entered once, but never 2 times in the same category. You can also do the same thing for several or even all contestants, and you may also choose to vote in only some of their contests.
Per Category
Allows the voter to cast 2 votes per category, 1 vote per unique contestant up to 2 total votes in each category. Once both votes are cast, the voter cannot vote again in this category, but they can vote in any other category up to 2 times. This means you could vote for John Doe in each and every contest he entered one time, and for each of those contests you could vote up to one more time for anyone except John Doe. Simply put, 2 votes per contest and you can't vote twice for the same person in the same contest, but you can vote for them again in other contests and the same 1 vote per contestant per contest concept applies.

Voter Details
Grab Name Before Voting
This setting will allow the admin to choose whether the name field must be filled out by the user before voting.
Grab Country Before Voting
This setting will allow the admin to choose whether the country field must be filled out by the user before voting.
Grab Zip-code Before Voting
This setting will allow the admin to choose whether the zip-code field must be filled out by the user before voting.
Contest Options
Title Truncation Grid View
This setting will allow control over the number of characters shown on the contestant grid view.
Auto Approve Contestants
This setting will allow you to auto approve the contestants when they make a submission. If 'No' is selected, they will go to a pending state where the admin will have to approve the post before it goes public. Only select 'Yes' if you are not worried about content which may be inappropriate being posted live.
