Introduction
The WP Voting Contest (Buy Votes) Addon is a premium extension for the WP Voting Contest plugin. It allows you to charge for votes. The voting fee can be set at the category level, enabling you to charge different fees for each contest when running multiple contests. The addon supports payments through PayPal and Stripe.
You can enable the Buy Votes Settings on a per category bases, that means you can also run free to vote contests and paid voting contests at the same time. Optionally, you can select the amount of free votes a user gets before they are prompted to buy votes.
Voting Process
Participants will fill out the voting form.
They will then be redirected to the chosen payment gateway (PayPal and/or Stripe) to complete the payment.
Once the payment is completed, the payment gateway will redirect the user back to the contest page.
The vote will be added to the contestant, unless the admin approves or disapproves the vote.
Configuration
Pricing Method
The addon supports two pricing methods: standard and tiered pricing. The standard method allows you to set a fixed price per vote, while the tiered pricing method allows you to set different prices for different quantities of votes.
Payment Gateway Support
This addon supports PayPal and Stripe, Paystack, and also Coinbase. Please note that support for these payment gateways is limited to countries that PayPal and Stripe support.
