🛠️Getting set up

Setting up your plugin is a piece of cake, just follow the instructions and you'll be ready to go in no time! (Or, you know, however long it takes to bake a cake. But you get the idea.)

Step 1: Install the WP Voting Contest plugin

1. Go to your WordPress backend, select Plugins from the menu and select the Add New sub menu item.

2. Select Upload.

3. Upload the wp-voting-contest-2.3.9.zip file you received after purchasing the plugin.

Step 2: Activate the plugin and enter your license key

1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard and select the Contest menu.

2. Select the License option.

3. Enter your license key and activate it.

After activating your license key, you will be notified of updates. You can manage your license through your account if you need to deactivate it and then activate it again, for example if you change your domain name.

Step 3 (Optional): Install add on packages to the core plugin

1. Go to your WordPress back end, select Plugins from the menu and select the Add New sub menu item.

2. Select Upload.

3. Upload the [plugin file].zip file you received after purchasing the add on.

4. Go to the WordPress Dashboard and select the Contest menu.

5. Select the License option.

6. Enter your license key for the appropriate add on and activate it.

Note: Some settings you see in this guide may be settings which are only visible if you install the corresponding plugin. They will otherwise be non existent.

To install any add on, the core plugin must be both installed and active.
