Overview
This tab is where you will configure new contests you are creating or edit existing ones. Click save when you are finished.
Add Contest Category
Contest Category Name
Depending on weather you are adding or editing, here is where you set or change the contest category name.
Update Other Details for Contest Category
Note: Timer is based off of your set WordPress Time in Dashboard > Settings > General
Select Start Time
The start timer in this plugin allows users to specify a start time for a contest. When the current time reaches the start time, the entry form will be removed and voting will begin. The timer will then count down until the end of the contest. The start time can be set to a date in the future, allowing for an entry period during which contestants can be displayed and entries accepted, but votes cannot be cast. If no start time is set, the contest will begin immediately and entries will be accepted while the contest is running.
Select End Time
The end timer in this plugin allows users to specify an end time for a contest. When the current time reaches the end time, the contest will close and no further votes will be accepted. The timer will count down until the end of the contest, displaying the remaining time to users. It is important to set an end time for the contest in order to clearly define the duration of the contest and ensure that it closes at the desired time.
Activation Count
The activation count setting determines the minimum number of contestants that must be registered for the contest to become active.
Set Gallery Button Link
This setting allows you to set the URL for this contest's main page within WordPress.
Entry Limit Per User
The entry limit setting refers to the maximum number of entries that each contestant can submit for the contest. This setting is typically used to prevent any one contestant from submitting a large number of entries and potentially dominating the contest. By setting an entry limit, you can ensure that all contestants have a fair chance of winning and that the contest remains balanced. When the entry limit is reached, the contestant will no longer be able to submit any additional entries for the contest. It is important to note that the entry limit applies to the total number of entries per contestant, not the number of entries per day or other time period. If the entry limit is left blank, it means that there is no limit on the number of entries that each contestant can submit.
Show Contestant Description
This setting allows you to choose where to display the contestants description in the corresponding views.
Enable Edit Contestant
This setting allows contestants to edit their submissions on the profile screen.
Hide List/Grid
This setting allows you to hide the list/grid option and force the contest to be viewed as either list or grid.
Show Total Vote Count
This setting allows you to show the total vote count for a contest category. It will display below the contest timer.
Note: The below setting 'Hide Submission Until Live' will show the word submission as either 'Photo', 'Video', or 'Music' depending on what type of contest you select.
Hide Submission until Live
This will hide the contestants submissions until the contest goes live, as dictated by the start time.
Rules and Prizes
This is where you will enter your description for the contest's prizes and rules.
Addon Settings
Settings related to add-ons in the plugin will only be visible if the corresponding add-on plugin is installed.
Buy Votes Settings
It is important to understand that for any of these settings to work properly, you must first configure your API keys and merchant settings at the global level. The Settings Menu has a sub-menu called Buy Votes. Here you can configure merchant settings. After this is configured, you must configure the settings for each contest here. You can set it up initially when you make the contest category, or simply navigate to the Add/Edit Tab to configure it after the fact.
To see the list of submitted purchase orders, you can navigate to the Buy Votes Orders menu.
User Enters Quantity to Buy Votes
This setting enables the user to select how many votes they wish to buy. Select this to enable tiered payments.
Enable Tiered Payments
This allows you to define price tiers for users buying votes. You can configure them as well as how many votes are free on the right hand side.
Display Tiered Payments
This setting allows you to choose to display the payment tiers in the front end.

Enable PayPal Payment
This enables the PayPal payment method. You will see to the right there is a spot where you can set the entry fee for the corresponding payment methods.
Enable Stripe Payment
This enables the Stripep payment method. You will see to the right there is a spot where you can set the entry fee for the corresponding payment methods.
Enable Paystack Payment
This enables the Paystack payment method. You will see to the right there is a spot where you can set the entry fee for the corresponding payment methods.
Coupon Extension Settings
If you need to create or manage coupons head to the Coupons Menu after you enable coupons.
